Ben Hauter, MD was inspired to pursue primary care by his parents whose small-town practices had great impact on their community. Ben started Salt and Light DPC right after residency at SIU Family Medicine in order to pursue his goals of providing high quality primary health care. He Lives with his wife, Brittany, who works as an occupational therapist, daughter Olivia and their two dogs.
